A WW2 Polzei/SS snare drum with green and white painted triangular pattern, has a 38cm diameter, with modern skins and chains. The skins are separated by a 16cm tall brass surround with upper and lower wooden bands. Eight right-angle metal brackets are equidistantly riveted along both the upper and lower bands, with threaded metal posts fed between them. The top of these posts are square in shape and control the tightening of both the upper and lower skins. To the upper wooden band is a sticker for "Matthia Muller", while the bottom drum skin has a pair of labels that possibly identify the previous owner. Original leg brace is intact.
