N030477 GERMAN PEOPLE'S REGISTRY IDENTIFICATION CARD. (Ausweis) 

A bi-fold, light green cardstock "Ausweis der Deutschen Volksliste" (Identity-card of-the German People’s-register), whose closed cover measures 10.5cm x 15cm. To the top of its first interior page is a typed admonition that the bearer’s temporary citizenship could be revoked. What follows is the bearer’s number in the "Deutsche Volksliste," his name, birth date and place, occupation (Kaufmann or Businessman), address and a "1942" issuing date. The appropriate signature and office stamps is to the base of this page. To the facing page is a black and white photograph of the bearer. The card shows light usage and wear.
