N025489 1926-1936 N.S.D.A.P. GAU BERLIN TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY BADGE. (Erinnerungsabzeichen) 

A 38mm diameter, cast aluminum alloy badge to whose obverse is a profiled, crowned bear holding the wreathed, mobile swastika an eagle clutches in its talons, with a row of fourteen Nazi flags receding to the left. "10 Jahre Gau Berlin" (10 Years [in-the] Province [of] Berlin) and "1926-1936" is to the base of the image, and the designer’s name is to the right of the bear. The crowned bear is the city symbol of Berlin. A horizontal pin-back device is crimped to its reverse, underneath of which is embossed "Walter Demmer Lüdenscheid".
