N008396 “SEGELSCHULSCHIFF HORST WESSEL” CAP TALLY. (Mützenband) 

BACKGROUND: Worn by sailors and cadets on the German Kriegsmarine and Marine Hitler Youth training bark Horst Wessel during the 1930s and WWII. The ship later became the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Eagle. The Kriegsmarine sailing training ship "Horst Wessel" housed the Marine HJ Reichsseesportschule 3 during the war.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Marine HJ Cap Tally "Segelschulschiff Horst Wessel". Gothic script, white woven on blue. Full length and uncut. Nice!
