BACKGROUND: The DDAC, "Der Deutsche Automobil-Club" (The German Automobile-Club), was instituted in September of 1933 by NSKK Korpsführer Adolf Hühnlein as an independent organization that was similar to the American Automobile Association. The club consisted of personnel who owned a car, and who were not members of the NSKK.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A roughly 45cm x 90cm, 1:5,000,000 scale map of Europe. The map was edited by "Der Deutsche Autombilclub e.V." for the year 1940. Nice map showing German boundaries prior to Operation Weserübung and the Battle of France.
