1937 pattern tan/khaki web covered binocular case with binoculars. Case has reinforced stiffening to its front, sides, back, and the top of its fold-over flap with brass snap closure. Two vertical brass belt hooks are to either side of a horizontal brass belt hook near the reverse top. Interior of the fold-over flap is a faint inkstamp with the makerís initials, and "C-broad arrow". The binoculars show original paint and clear optics. Stamped near the left eyepiece is the British "broad arrow" with the designation, "Bino. Prism No.2 Mk.III x 6" and the serial number 225231. Stamped near the right eyepiece is the "broad arrow", the makerís name "Kershaw" within an oval, the date, "1944." Carrying strap is included that is manufacture marked, dated and "C" broad arrow marked.
