C033994 RCAF ISSUE P37 AMMO POUCHES.

A pair of light blue grey webbed canvas, double pocket, ammo pouches with steel fittings and brass snaps attached to a pair of webbed shoulder strap.. Each pocket’s top fold over flap has a single brass snap closure which mates with one of two brass studs to each pouch front. To the reverse, on either side, are vertical painted steel belt hooks with, between them to the top, a vertical strap with a painted steel loop and another short strap with a painted steel buckle. A pair of standard RCAF, blue-grey webbed shoulder straps are attached that are stamped “M.S. & U Ltd. 1942" and “Z.L.& T. Ltd. 1943" along with a “C” broad arrow to each. They show typical usage and wear.
