C028882 RCAF UNIFORM GROUP LOT "Wireless/Air Gunner Glen Hancock".

This is a grouping of Glen Nelson Hancock who was a Wireless operator during WW2. He served from 1943-1945 and continued training in 1946. The grouping includes his Service and Paybook, his application for his medals, some pictures of Glen himself and his wireless operator logbook. The lot also includes his visor cap, tunic and pants. His story after the war is quite interesting. He became a journalist and eventually started the School of Journalism at kings college in Halifax and eventually wrote 2 books about his experiences in the war. These books are called; Charley goes to war and my real name is Charley: memoirs of a grocers clerk. All components are complete and in good condition. Tunic is roughly a 38. Nice grouping!
