RCAF Visor Cap Flying Officer Edward William Ronald Fortt, with research, biography and 3 original photos. FO Fortt was a spitfire pilot who was KIA 12 April 1942. RCAF/RAF officers visor cap with in the typical blue-grey colour with a one-piece crown, four-piece body with seams at each of its cardinal points, center band, and stiff square cloth covered visor. A black patent leather chinstrap, with dual adjustment sliders, is to the front of the center band, attached over each ear by flat, black fabric buttons. The cap retains its original good quality, hand embroider RCAF officers cap badge. The badge features a kings crown (embroidered) with a gilt washed metal albatross. Nice complete liner and sweatband. Roughly a 57. Named to "Fortt". Nice untouched spitfire pilot grouping.
