C021879 SWEDISH M1914 COMBAT BAYONET.

A Swedish model M1914 knife bayonet and scabbard. Its contoured unique pommel has a stud guide and stud. The 33cm long bright blade is double edged. To its ricasso is stamped an crown with an "C" underneath it. To the reverse ricasso is stamped another crown. Contoured wooden grips are fixed with two screws. Scabbard locking mechanism near cross guard is complete & works well. The cross guard has a circular muzzle guide above and a slightly hooked extension below. Both sides of its 35cm tall scabbard have a central, vertical groove, and the obverse has a throat screw beneath which is a frog lug. Scabbard retains about most of its original blueing.
