A lightweight, waterproof duck material poncho. This double sided poncho/shelter has one side with red, brown, tan, dull yellow with dark and medium green shades. The reverse shows four shades of brown. There is an opening to the middle with six snaps and a tab that is accessible from either side to allow a snug fit to the neck. There are no metal grommets in the corners to facilitate rigging it as a shelter. Stamped to the edging is "U.S.M.C.", "The Walker Company, June 13, 1944".
