C016895 U.S. ARMY OFFICER’S UNIFORM GROUPING.

This group consists of an olive drab, long sleeve wool shirt with a matching pair of belted, service trousers. The shirt has a seven button front with a lay down collar, button integral shoulder straps, buttoned cuffs and a pair of button flap breast pockets with straight flaps. A small tag to the interior shows the size “15 1/2-35", as well as, “Regulation Army Officer’s Shirt”. Another label is sewn to the hem of the shirt that shows the size as “15 1/2-35". The matching olive drab wool, straight legged service trousers have a four matching button French fly, with an additional button at the waist. The trousers bear a pair of vertical, slash hip pockets, as well as a small watch fob pocket to the right wearing side, just under the waist band. The rear has a pair of button, scallop flapped pockets to the seat. There are seven belt loops that extend the perimeter of the waistband that has a khaki/olive drab, webbed belt with a brass friction toothed buckle. Under the belt is stamped “U.S. J.Q.M.D. 1945" and “40". The trousers have a tag sewn to the interior that reads “Herman D. Oritsky” with a stock number, and the size “30x33". A handwritten name of “Wm. C. Bryan 18049998" is to the waist band. Nice pressed seam. Fabric of both items are in good condition.
