C016595 U.S. HBT FATIQUE/COMBAT JACKET WITH FIELD TROUSERS.

A fourth pattern HBT fatique/combat jacket with a five button front, a pair of breast pockets with squared corners and straight flaps. All buttons are blackened metal. Stamped to the interior is the size “40R”, as well as “Jacket, Herringbone Twill OD-7 Special, Pattern Date July 15, 1944.” Included are a pair of Haring Bone Twill olive drab trousers that have a four button French fly, with two buttons and buttonholes at the waist. Two large bellow pockets or cargo pockets are sewn to each side that flaps and buttons closure. A tag sewn to the inside of the waistband indicates "W40 "L33". A nice worn set.
