C013069 WAR BRITISH OFFICER’S GORGET. A sheffield plate gorget with rolled edge showing the coat of arms of King George III to the center. A hole is present to each end to allow for the attachment of ribbon or chain. The reverse is hollow showing a mirror image of the front. The metal has darkened with age with some surface scratches and overall wear to the coat of arms design. There is a slight inward bend to the left "arm".
