C012591 CAPTAIN "ROBERT MORGAN" SWEETHEART BRACELET.
A 3.5cm x 1.5cm bracelet with chain linked strap is engraved "B.W.-R.M." "U.S.A. Air Corps" to the front with the date "5.25.41" to the reverse. The initials "B.W." refer to Betty Whitaker", while the initials "R.M." refer to Robert Morgan who was Captain of the Memphis Belle. Included is a handwritten note from the husband of Betty, as well as a typewritten page telling the story of Betty and Robert (we believe an excerpt from his book "The Man Who Flew the Memphis Belle". A small black and white photograph is also included.
