The "Bustina" field cap was originally introduced in 1933 and was worn by both Army and Fascist militia personnel, with minor variations. Grey/green, wool/rayon blend field service cap with fold down side panels with flaps, held over the top of small metal snap. Fold down front visor in the upright position. To the front is a bullion badge representing the 14th Infantry, while the three bullion stars to the left side indicate the rank of Captain. Cap fully lined in rayon with a grained grey leather sweatband. The sweatband is embossed with the manufacture name and location.
