C048476 1920-36 "14TH CANADIAN LIGHT HORSE" CAP BADGE.

BACKGROUND: 14th Canadian was formed in 1920 through the amalgamation of the 27th Light Horse and the 14th Canadian Mounted Rifles. Headquarters were moved from Moose Jaw to Swift Current, Saskatchewan. In 1940, the regiment was renamed "14th Canadian Hussars."

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A stamped brass badge measuring approximately 4.5cm x 4.5cm featuring a "bucking bronco" above two scrolls that are inscribed with the motto "Free and Fearless" and "14th Canadian Light Horse" below. Two lugs are present on the reverse.
