L022581 FLIGHT LOG BOOK "Fallschirmjäger".

WW2 German Paratrooper Flight Log (Flugbuch). All German flying personnel, including paratroopers, were required to have a flight log book showing all the aircraft flights they made and the purpose, distance, and location of that flight. This is the Flugbuch of Jäger Willi Reith. (In the Luftwaffe only the Paratroops used the ranks of Jäger, Oberjäger, and so on). It shows he made a total of 16 flights beginning in August 1940, including 6 parachute jumps at the Parachute School in Wittstock completed and certified on December 13, 1940. Includes a photo of Reith wearing the paratrooper badge (center, with two Army soldiers, possibly his brothers, during the war). The German graves registration shows three men named Willi Reith died during WW2. 21cm x 15cm. SCARCE
