WW2 German Luftwaffe Training Manual for Paratroops. The manual L. Dv. 1601 (Entwurf) for Die Fallschirmgrundausbildung für Fallschirmtruppe, issued in February 1940. This copy has the property stamp of III./Fallschirm-Jäger Regiment 1. (III Battalion, Parachute Regiment 1). The manual described the techniques and methods of ground training for paratroops, and was the basis for the tactics used on Crete in May 1941. Provides all doctrine for complete ground operations. Complete with all fold-out charts in the back. 15cm x 21cm.
