J002994 (IJN) RISING SUN NATIONAL WAR FLAG. 

Smaller size, approximately 50cm x 35cm, one piece white cotton flag, upon which is printed, in red, a "Rising Sun" comprised of sixteen rays emanating from its central "Hinomaru". Original corners and tie strings are still present. Shows age, use and period wear, but overall nice condition.
