J002863 (IJA) EM/NCO'S LATE WAR COMBAT TUNIC. Known as "KESSEN-FUKU" or Decisive battle. Partially lined, olive drab wool tunic. The tunic features two breast pockets, a five-button single-breasted front closure, closed neck lapels with a single eye hook. The breast pockets have pointed-edged button down flaps with buttons. All of the original buttons to the front closure, and the smaller ones to the breast pockets are complete and have their original stitching. Buttons are of the olive drab painted dish metal type. Bayonet support strap and button to the left side. To the left interior front panel is a depot marking with inkstamped kanji. There is a tear in the lower back of the jacket, please ask for photos. Roughly a size 32. Excellent untouched example, near mint condition. Excellent example.
