G007590 ARTWORK POSTCARD. (Postkarte) 

A 5 7/16" x 3 1/2", printed color postcard whose obverse depicts, as written to the top right, "Zurückgeschlagener französischer Kavallerie-Angriff bei Arras" (Beaten-back french Cavalry-Assault near Arras). To the reverse is a circular inkstamp reading "K.D. Feldpostexp. D. 25. Inf. Div." and a January 1916 date. Another circular inkstamp with an Imperial eagle to its center and reading "Offizierausbildunglehrgang XVIII A. K." is to the left of the first. An address and handwritten note, in Sütterlin script, may also be seen.
