G001365 REICHSKOLONOIALBUND EMíS TUNIC. (Jacke) Reichskolonialbund circa 1939/1940. Enlisted man's Tunic. Sand colored corduroy tunic. The Reichskolonialbund sleeve device on left sleeve was added during the Third Reich period as a member of the official Colonial Veterans League (Reichskolonialbund). All original Imperial (Kaiser's crown) buttons are present. Blue piping. Traces of a large medal bar above left breast pocket. Faint maker's stamp in right armpit. Excellent condition for age. Roughly a size 32. Scarce tunic.

Always great to see updates on your site. 

I notice you've got a very nice colonial veterans tunic up there. I'd date it earlier than you. It's certainly post WW1, but I think it's before 1936. After the Nazi take over of colonial veterans leagues and their incorporation into the RKB, the swastika was usually added to the Peters Flag badge on the sleeve. There may have been exceptions and this is a bit of a gray area for me, so don't quote me verbatim on this but I would guess this is more likely 1920s or early to mid 1930s rather than 1939/40. Still an excellent find.
