H08750 ARMY ISSUE MAP OF GR. MUTZ & VICINITY. (Karte) 21 3/4" x 20 5/8", printed black and white, sepia toned, 1:25,000 scale army issue, "Meßtischblatt", (Ordnance-Survey map), of the Gr. Mutz region of Germany, situated just north west of Berlin. The map shows all of the topographical features of the region as well as cities, towns and villages, and the road and railway networks. The bottom edge of the map has printed script which includes, "Herausgegeben von der Preußischen Reichsamt Landesaufnahme 1883, Reichsamt für Landesaufnahme, Einzelne Nachträge 1936", (Published by the Prussian National Land Survey Office 1883, National Land Survey Office, Detailed Addendum 1936). Map is also dated, "2. 1945". The map shows light age yellowing and has been stored rolled up so there are no fold creases. Interestingly the reverse of the map has an additional full color printed map of the north western coast region of the Black Sea extending roughly from Odessa in Russia into Bucharest Rumania. The map also shows all of the topographical features of the region as well as cities, towns and villages, and the road and railway networks. The bottom edge of the map has printed script, "Deutsche Heereskarte Nicht für die Offentlichkeit bestimmt!" (German Army map, Not intended for the public!). The top edge and both the left and right sides of the map have been cut-off but it does not affect the Gr. Mutz map on the other side.
