H08550 ARMY ISSUE MAP OF DALLGOW-DÖBERITZ & VICINITY. (Karte) 23 1/2" x 22 3/8", printed black and white, sepia toned, 1:25,000 scale army issue, "Meßtischblatt", (Ordnance-Survey map), of the Dallgow-Döberitz region of Germany, situated just north west of Berlin. The map has printed script to the top which includes, "Nur für den Dienstgebrauch!" (For service use only!). The map shows all of the topographical features of the region as well as cities, towns and villages, and the road and railway networks. Also shown is, "Lager-Döberitz", (Camp Döberitz), and the "Truppenubungsplatz Döberitz", (Troops Training Ground Döberitz), as well as the "Olympisches Dorf", (Olympic Village). The right hand side of the map has a printed glossary of symbols and terms. The bottom edge of the map also has printed script which includes, "Herausgegeben von der Preußischen Reichsamt Landesaufnahme 1903, Reichsamt für Landesaufnahme, berichtigt 1925, Mehrfarbige Ausgabe 1936, Einzelne Nachträge 1937", (Published by the Prussian National Land Survey Office 1903, National Land Survey Office Amended 1925, Polychromatic Issue 1936, Detailed Addendum 1937). The map shows light age yellowing and has been stored rolled up so there are no fold creases. Interestingly the reverse of the map has an additional full color printed map of the "Wotozyn", region of western Poland. The map also shows all of the topographical features of the region as well as cities, towns and villages, and the road and railway networks. The right side and the bottom edge of the map have been cut-off but it does not affect the Dallgow-Döberitz map on the other side.
