The personal license is issued from the "Republik Baden". It is a heavy paper, bi-fold document that has the name and other particulars, while the interior pages show a nice black and white photograph, his signature and appropriate office stamps. The grey oil cloth Army drivers license has no picture attached, but is issued for a "combustion machine", class 1. Both documents show moderate/heavy usage and wear.
