H063984 "SCHÜTZEN" SERVICE INSTRUCTION MANUAL. (Ausbildungbuch) 

Roughly 14cm x 21cm, three hundred thirty six page, training manual from the private purchase, "Reibert" series of military service instructional books. The book has a mid-weight blue/green card stock cover with the front featuring black printed artwork of a German national eagle and a uniformed soldier standing at attention. The front cover also has black printed title, "Der Dienst-Unterricht in Heere Ausgabe für den Schützen der Schützenkompanie", (Army Service Instructions Issue for the Riflemen of Rifle Companies). The book was published by the E.S. Mittler & Sohn publishing house in Berlin in 1940. The book contains over five hundred photos, illustrations and schematics that reinforce the text. The pages show age yellowing but are all intact. The reverse cover lists seventeen additional titles in the Reibert series of military instructional books.
