BACKGROUND: All German soldiers were issued twill work uniforms in order to save there regular uniform from excessive wear. Originally issued in a light grey color, this was changed in 1915 to feldgrau for better camouflage purposes. The twill work uniform where used extensively with front line troops and also troops serving behind the line. 

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Set of Reischswehr patter twill work pants. Ribbed, feldgrau HBT cloth construction. Five button fly front closer. Dual stitched exterior watch pocket to right upper leg area. All of the suspender buttons are complete. Buttons all have original stitching. Nice original size markings still present. The pants are roughly size 34" waist. Well worn and used examples.
