H039087 CASED ZB 37 BELT LOADER.

BACKGROUND: The ZB-37 was originally produced in Czechoslovakia by Zbrojovka Brno as the ZB-53 for the Czechoslovokian Military but once they fell under Nazi control the German’s took a liking to the 46 pound fire breather and took possession of them and dubbing them the MG37.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Czech Loading tool for ZB37 machine gun cal. 7.92x57. Good condition. Hopper is missing. Leather strap is missing a small section. Well marked "ZBROJOVKA BRNO CHECOSLOVAQUIA". Nice condition. -Note: Used to load cartridge belts for the MG.37(t) 7.92mm machine gun. Germany captured 6,000 MG.37(t) from Czechoslovakia in 1938 and produced another 6,411 from 1938 until 1942 when production ceased in favor of standard issue German-designed machine guns. Mainly
