H038194 CASED COMMUNICATION CABLE SPOOL. (Verbindung Kabel Spule mit Kasten)

A 25cm x 26cm x 12cm, rounded corner, magnetic sheet metal case. The case retains most of its original field grey paint. The reverse has an internal bar type hinge. The front has a pull down pressure closure clip and a swivel locking key. Riveted swivel carrying clips are to either side. Complete with the original, stitched on, field grey web carrying strap. A black stenciled designation script is to top, "Vl. K. (Fbg. bf)," possibly for Verbindungslinie Kabel Fernbesprechung beforderung (Communication line cable, Remote control jack, transmission). The interior bottom of the case has a soldered plate with a central vertical metal rod to secure the cable spool. The case houses a field grey painted, sheet metal spool.
