H034872 PERSONAL DOCUMENT GROUPING "Gerold Kretz". An extensive document grouping that extends from when he was a member of the Jungvolk, Hitlerjugend, DAF and his five year career in the German Wehrmacht until after the Second World War. The documents consist of a typewritten note dated December 1935 of advancement from Jungvolk to Hitlerjugend, a Hitlerjugend membership with a small black and white photograph that was attached at a later date, a DAF membership booklet, NS Volkswohlfahrt Membership card, NSDAP membership card, black and white photograph of Gerold Kretz, a typewritten order for him to report to the local magistrates and to stay close to home due to lack of identification (1945), Certificate of Discharge from the Wehrmacht, Area Control Form of the Allied Forces, Military Government Registration form, and a typewritten letter by Gerold Kretz, dated 1962, that lists the various units he served during his Military career, including becoming a POW in Bergen/Munster. All pieces show varying degrees of usage and wear, with some documents being ripped in half. A very nice grouping worthy of further research!
