S024364 SS M33 SERVICE DAGGER & INSIGNIA GROUPING.
Nice 4 piece, group lot of items all belonging to the same SS officer. After the wars end, he immigrated to Canada. This grouping was picked up directly by a friend on mine in Ontario in 1981. There was quite a bit of other items at one time, but now the grouping remains at these four items.
(1) Dagger. Typical SS EM’s dagger made by Boker. Nice blade, good etching. Fittings are all nice. There are several chips to the grip where the owner applied some glue to, to try and repair (see photos). Scabbard is decent, retaining 80% original finish.
(2)- Two pair of collar tabs for the 37th Foot Regiment (with rank tab), SS-Sturmführer with no piping.
(3)- Allgemeine SS 4th Foot Regiment officers cufftitle.
(4)- Ausweis. Included a superb photo of him in uniform and visor cap dated for May of 1936!
