(Plakat) WHW (Winter Assistance Work) was an annual charitable donation event held by the NS-Volkswohlfahrt, (National Socialist-People’s Social Welfare Organization), in which all the assorted NSDAP organizations personnel would solicit donations from the public and reward the contributors with a wide variety of lapel badges. This color poster measures approximately 83.5cm x 59cm that loosely translate as "Day of the German Police 1941 WHW." "The proper policing in the war effort" "The Police" "Your Friend" "Your Helper." The poster has numerous tears along it’s edges with a heavy tear to the top. Lines are visible where is was once folded.
