N28951 1939 FRANKFURT DISTRICT DAY BADGE. (Kreistag Abzeichen) A 1 3/8" diameter, cast badge to whose obverse is an eagle and swastika on a plinth with the autobahn and a bridge in the background. "Kreistag Groß-Frankfurt" is scrolled above the image, and "24.u.25.Juni 1939." is scrolled beneath. A horizontal pin-back device is crimped to the reverse, above which is embossed "E. Ferd. Wiedmann" and "Frankfurt a.M.S.10" is embossed beneath.
