N18653 "ORG. TODT" PERSONNEL'S WORK TUNIC. (Arbeitsrock) An unlined, brown-colored, rough wool tunic, whose five-button, singe-breasted front closure leads up to a short, stand-up collar. The three lowermost buttons have "474" stamped to them, the second from the top, which has a duller finish than the others, has "247"and "S" stamped to it, and the topmost, which is larger and appears to have been re-stitched, is featureless. Open-topped patch pockets are to each hip. The tunic is noticeably worn to each elbow, is lightly soiled throughout, and it has several small holes to its lower right front panel, left hip pocket, left shoulder, and, most significantly, to its lower right sleeve. The consigner reports that this is an Organization Todt work jacket.
