N09054 ADOLF HITLER PROPAGANDA POSTER. (Anschlagzettel) A 23 1/4" x 32 3/4", printed paper poster, which has been mounted on a slightly larger linen backing. The poster has a black and white, left profiled head shot of Hitler against a red background, bordered in white, with, in black Gothic script and against a larger white border to the base, "Ein Volk - ein Reich - ein Führer!" (One People - one Nation - one Leader!). A central vertical fold line, and three equidistantly spaced horizontal folds, may be seen. The poster is significantly age yellowed and edge worn, with tearing along the vertical fold line, to one side of that, in several places along the base and the lower left side, and a section has torn free from the top. Water damage is also evident along the base and the left side. The linen backing is in marginally better condition. An arresting image, rough but real.
