BACKGROUND: The NSKK Traffic Education Service arm badge was worn on the upper right sleeve of either the service tunic or greatcoat. The badge was awarded after 6 months of service.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Die-struck aluminum construction. Approximately 72mm x 72mm. Badge displays a second pattern (1938) NSKK eagle and swastika, with "N.S.K.K." to a banner arching above it. Below, in raised script is the word "VERKEHRSERZIEHUNGSDIENST". The recesses of the badge are painted in black enamel of which 90% still remains. There are three holes in the badge for attachment to the tunic sleeve. Very nice example and hard to find.
