BACKGROUND: The RBA, "Reichsbetriebszellenabteilung" (National-factory-cells-department), was founded in January of 1931 and was renamed the NSBO, "Nationalsozialische Betriebszellen Organization" (National-socialist Industrial-cells Organization), in March of that year. This organization acted as the NSDAP’s alternative to labor unions and communist worker groups in industrial factories. Officially a national organization, the NSBO was concentrated in the heavy industrial centers, with very little representation outside these areas. The NSBO was absorbed into the DAF in October of 1934, and ceased to exist in March of 1935. 

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A roughly 140cm x 120, double sided, multi-piece construction flag, trimmed to all but its hoist edge with 50mm long silver-aluminum fringe. Sewn to each of its red bunting (a loosely woven worsted wool commonly used in flags) sides are approximately 72cm diameter cotton white disks with black mobile swastikas sewn to them. Sewn to each side of its canton (the upper corner near the hoist edge) are black wool patches, upon which are chain-stitched, in white and in Gothic script, "Enkenbach Sammelzelle 8". Each of these patches have twisted white piping along their edges. Flag is complete with both of its original nickel/silver plated loops and has an attachment clip to each corner. Shows the expected light age toning, but overall excellent condition. Nice flag.
