Collar "rank" insignia actually denoted the wearer’s pay grade, and the accompanying devices their assignment or specialty.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A 1933 or earlier, right collar tab, in the form of a 65mm x 32mm parallelogram, against whose black wool obverse is a winged wheel device. Red rayon piping.
