N010457 OCCUPIED EASTERN TERRITORIES POSTAL OFFICIAL'S SLEEVE INSIGNIA. (Armabzeichen) Sleeve insignia, in the form of a black wool oval, 2 3/8" wide and 3 1/4" tall, upon which is machine embroidered, in light grey, a vertical oak leaf, around which is a similarly colored scroll with "Deutsche Post Osten" (German Post East) to it. This would have been worn on the upper left sleeve of the uniform of a civil postman operating in the occupied eastern territories. The black base has significant moth damage it, and the grey embroidery is worn near a couple of those holes.
