N009958 DRL MEMBERSHIP IDENTIFICATION CARD. A 5 1/16" x 3 1/2" light-weight, grey cardstock card with a black printed eagle with a mobile swastika to its breast above the text "Deutscher Reichsbund für Leibesübungen" (German National-organization for Physical-education), "Mitgliedskarte", (Members Card) and "für Kinder unter 14 Jahren" (for Children under 14 Years). Personal information has been hand written in the fields below and a pre-printed facsimile signature of Hans von Tschammer und Osten who was Reichssportführer (Reich Sports Leader) from 1933 to 1943. There is a strip to the left edge of what is possibly a glue like that found on an envelope which would allow it to be attached to another document. The card is in very good condition with only minor age soiling.
