N009158 REICHSNAHRSTAND CONTRIBUTION BOOKLET & ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS. A set of three documents consisting of a farmer’s dues card, a tax card and a tobacco growers hint card. The first is a 5 13/16 x 4 1/8", green, half-fold card and is a "Reichsnährstand" (National Providers) "Beitragskarte" (Contribution card) which has to the front cover an eagle above a horizontal bar, with the motto "Blut und Boden" (Blood and Soil) beneath which are oak leaves to either side of a black disk with a white mobile swastika, crossed by a sprig of barley and a short sword. Below the symbol is the personal information of the card holder part of which is "Beschäftigungsart" (Employment Type) as "landw. Beamter" (Agricultural Official) and that he is from the "Kreisbauernschaft" (Farming District) of the town of Springe and a Reichsnährstand ink-stamp. The inside pages are broken into grids, six columns wide by four rows high, with the fist page full of dues stamps and the second page with the fisrt three columns full. The rest of the card is filled with accompanying text. The card is in very good condition with a few small stains. The second is a half-fold, 8 1/4" x 5 13/16", tan card and is the farmers "Steuerkarte 1938" (Tax card 1938) which has a notification to the top "Bemerkungen auf 3 genau beachten !" (exactly follow the notes on 3 !) with his personal information below. The second page has the amount of money made and the amount deducted with an official ink-stamp. The third page hase the heading "Zur Beachtung!" (To the notice!) With text on how to properly fill out the form below. The back cover has the heading "Anforderung der Bürgersteuer 1938" (Request of the citizen tax 1938) with printed text, written information and an official ink-stamp below. The card is in good codition with some minor staining and a horizontal fold to the center. The last card is titled "Winke für Tabakerzeuger" (Tips for Tobacco Producer) with the sub title "Wie werden selbstgezogene Tabakpflanzen gebrauchsfertig?" (How will home grown tobacco plants be ready for use?). the inside and rear cover have tips on growing and curing your own tobacco and ends with "Wünsche guten Erfolg!" (Success good wishes!). The card is in very good condition with only some minor age toning to the edges.
