N004063 WHW / NSV PROPAGANDA POSTER. (Plakat) WHW (Winter Assistance Work) was an annual charitable donation event held by the NS-Volkswohlfahrt, (National Socialist-People’s Social Welfare Organization), in which all the assorted NSDAP organizations personnel would solicit donations from the public and reward the contributors with a wide variety of lapel badges. This poster, with a quote by Dr. Hugo Jury (who was Gauleiter of Lower Danube), by "wanting to keep the Fuhrer joyful" was used to rally a meeting or street collection. The poster measures approximately 58cm x 41cm with a fold line to the middle, but the poster is rolled. Some small wearing to the edges, but overall a very nice poster.
