U000856 UNION REVOLVER CARTRIDGE POUCH. Heavy duty, black bridal leather construction. Large single fold over flap with single stud strap to the front. Dual approximately 2.5" x 3/4" belt straps to the reverse. Each belt strap is attached be typical Civil War period "Union Style" brass rivets, one to each end. Approximate size is 6" x 4". Light cracking and chafe wear is evident to the leather, and verdigris to the brass stud and rivets. The pouch is otherwise intact, with all of its original stitching, and is still relatively supple. Overall excellent example.
