A 6" x 9 1/16", hardcover, 232 page book profusely illustrated with black and white photographs, line drawings and one color chart. It begins with orders, decorations and medals from the Nazi era but before the outbreak of the war, non-portable civil awards, NSDAP awards, sports badges, youth badges, and medals from the Spanish Civil war. It then continues with wartime decorations, commemorative cuff titles and campaign shields, war badges of the Army and Waffen-SS, Navy, and Air Force, non-portable awards of the Luftwaffe, and awards to foreign auxiliaries. Industrial, miscellaneous, and awards from the free city of Danzig complete the volume. A medal ribbon chart, in color, is to the end of the book. Typical light age yellowing is evident to the pages, although the covers are more moderately soiled, with color fading and edge wear to the spine. By David Littlejohn and Col. C.M.
