PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A ten pocket ammo pouch, made of green/khaki canvas, about 26" by 5". Each pocket has a 3" by 2 1/2" fold over flap that is reinforced with a 1/2" wide web strip that is folded over and stitched around the edge. On each of the flaps are 3" by 1/4" web straps that are sewn on to create 1" loops that mate with lozenge shaped wood buttons on the front of the pockets to secure the flaps. Each pocket is about 4 3/4" high by 2 1/2" wide by 1" deep with a reinforced bottom. On the reverse are two web straps, one at each end, 1 1/8" by 4", folded over and sewn on to create 1/2" loop through which "D" rings have been placed for attaching a carrying strap. There are two areas closer to the center that have the remnants of stitching where "D" rings were attached. There are some rust stains, a few darker stains, wear to some of the flap edges and pockets, one missing wood button and the stitching has been separated between two pairs of pockets.
