P10030 UNION M1855 CARTRIDGE BOX WITH SHOULDER BELT. Superb, untouched all original cartridge box & sling for the .58 cal rifled musket. Box leather is in excellent condition, showing only the typical light age crazing.. Leather is still very pliable & no dry rot. Box still retains all of its straps, buckles, U.S. brass box plate. Leather sling is also still in excellent condition for its 140 plus year age and also still retains its original brass eagle plate. Comes complete with both of its original tin ammunition inserts. Maker marked to "H.A.DINGEL N-YORK". Excellent set.
