C18353 FRENCH WWI & II M1909 REVOLVER HOLSTER. This dark maroon leather holster is 12" long (measured diagonally) by 8 1/2" wide at the top and 2" wide at the bottom. The flap covers most of the holster and it is held by a single brass grommet. The interior is divided into two parts. One for the pistol the other appears to have been for the ammunition. There is another flap holding the second part, which is also secured by a single grommet. On the back there are two wide rings, which were used to connect the holster to a strap, as well as, a belt loop, to secure onto the belt. The belt loop is 4 1/4" long by 2' wide. The leather is quite soft, especially in the interior pouch. There are quite a few scuffs on the exterior and interior. Nonetheless, it remains in good condition.
