C09354 BRITISH NATIONAL FLAG
. This flag is 35" high by 71 ½" wide.. With each piece being machine sown separately it is quite detailed. The material used is called bunting, which is a lightly woven cotton or wool that is commonly used for flags. The Flag can be best describe by demonstrating what each section represents. The blue background with the white diagonals represent Scotland and Saint Andrew’s cross. The red diagonal is symbolic for Ireland Saint Patrick’s cross, while the Red diagonals on white, they represent England and Saint George’s cross. The flag itself is in very good shape. There are minor holes that are no bigger than 1/8". The holes are no visible from far. The stitching is still very secure. There is no markings on the flag and there is some discoloration to the fabric which is caused by age. Otherwise it is in very good condition.GRADE**** PRICE $129.00
