C075761 "R.N.Z.A.F." SHOULDER FLASH.

BACKGROUND: The Royal New Zealand Air Force was originally formed from components of the British Royal Air Force. The RNZAF became independent in 1923 although many aircrew continued to service in the RAF until the end of 1940's. The RNZAF fought in WWII, Vietnam and the Gulf War.

PHYSICAL BACKGROUND: A 7cm x 6cm machine embroidered black wool background has stitched in white thread "R.N.Z.A.F. along with the Air Force Eagle centered underneath. It has paper and glue remnants on the back which indicates it may have been removed from a scrapbook. There appears to be some glue on the front as well. Nice example.
